My Beautiful Princess...

Okay I am gushing...and I know that I am probably biased but I just think Hailie is the most beautiful little girl... She had her Christmas Program on Friday night and she was so excited.. Here she is with her teacher Ms. Charity.. she just adores Ms. Charity and so do I, she really is the best Preschool teacher. Here is Mr. Luke hanging out with mommy waiting for the program to start....cracks me up..and then since Luke use to go to the same Preschool as Hailie he ran into some of his little friends..so cute... they were just chatting non stop.. you know important stuff like their favorite Star Wars guys...
The pastor of the church always does this long drawn out speech every year..God love him but my goodness...

So this guy in front of Kyle looked exactly like the guy from the movie Dumb and Dumber...you know the blonde one..I kid you not..the shirt he was wearing..his hair..his face..I mean everything.. we were dying.. I wish I would have gotten a better picture of his face though.. Kyle was cracking me up..can you tell we were bored.. we are so bad..

My baby being led up the stairs....

These two pictures were the only ones I could salvage fromthemillion I took..they were horrible..my camera is the worst.. I know you have to hear me complain about the camera again..but really..

Grandma Kathy gave the "star" of the night a pink rose.. so sweet...

Then Mommy and Daddy picked up some Golden Spoon to celebrate!! Their frozen yogurt is the best..if you haven't tried it.. you really should. Not sure if it is just a local AZ thing or not though.

Last game of the season

Hard to believe the season is over already.. I felt like Luke really enjoyed his first soccer experience..

Telling coach to put him in because he just knew he was going to "score three goals this game"

Making sure everything is tucked in before he brings it...Look at that smile... taking a bad spill... mommy's reaction...He got right back up though and was in there trying to get the ball...
Hailie was really involoved in watching the game..can't you tell ...

Great season baby.. we are really proud of you!

Thanks for the amazing pictures Geoff!!! We all know how I feel about my camera... this weekend was jammed packed with activities.. I will post more later.. but the whole weekend I felt it was all I could do to stop from throwing my camera into a wall..

Preparing for Baking Day...

Nothing major needed....my pot holders have just "expired" .. yes that is right, I said my pot holders are expired... You didn't know that..well either did I , but apparently they do because I was getting something out of the oven and I found my hand felt like it was burning... looked down..hmm pot holder is on the hand.. so after I throw the cookie sheet on the counter as fast as I can, I whip off my pot holder and sure enough..burnt hand... hence pot holder has expired..
I could just stop into Target, but last night I got my Anthropologie catalog and didn't have time to look at it, but now I am at work and it is on my mind..

Click to the Anthropolgie site...

There stuff is sooo cute... I love these..reasonably priced too..

Then I get sucked in... Oh some Christmas dish towels would be nice..

Next I stumble upon these measuring cups! Brought back memories... my sister and I use to have a red stacking doll just like this one... Do you remember Mel? Where is she mom?

And here are about the cutest measuring spoons I have seen... Hailie has a soft spot for giraffes since she use to always have her Sophie with her.. She would love to help mommy cook with these..

The Countdown to Christmas begins...

So I saw this Adveant Calendar at where else Potterybarnkids...69 bucks...
Not exactly within my budget. I have knocked off their stuff before so I decided to give it a shot again...So armed with my Fabri- Tac (love that stuff!) and felt..loads and loads of felt.. I got to work on not one but five..yes five...I thought hey why not make them for family as well..

Here is Santa being pieced together (pocket # 25 of course!)

So here is the final results..when I was done I never wanted to see another pair of scissors or felt again, but I think they turned out really cute...this picture really doesn't do it justice..again bad photographer most likely but I am going to put the blame on that dang camera again (wink wink Santa)
The pockets were filled by "Santa Grandma"....

Hailie could not wait to look inside those pockets..but I warned her Santa was watching to make sure she was being a good girl..and that seemed to do the trick..

So last night the kids literally almost knocked me down at the door to run and get a stool to see what was in the first pocket...They were so cute reading the verse together and eating their candy canes..It was worth all that work..then the crazy nut I am..remembered seeing somewhere the idea to make a garland with little clothespins to hang Chrismas Cards up with... what else was I going to do with all that leftover felt...

I decided to do mittens as I was done with Christmas tress for awhile...Now I just need everyone to start sending me there Christmas Cards..

Look what came in the mail!

The Free Snapfish Photo Book!
That was seriously fast delivery...
It is so neat too! The kids had a great time looking at it.. They kept asking me to read the story again!
I put the book together using my favorite blog posts..

I will definetely be ordering one of these in the future again and won't mind paying the full price for it (though free was pretty darn nice) The only thing that kind of stinks is some of my images in the book are not very clear... but it is because of my camera I know it.. the photos I put in the book that were not taken by me turned out fantastic..
