hailiegirls dresser...

sometimes I feel like there is nobody out there reading my blog, so I get down on myself..
why did my first giveaway not go so well, why does nobody ever comment...I don't have that many followers... etc..
then I bring myself back remembering that I am doing this for me and my babies to have something to look back on.. there is so much creativity and even competition out there in blog land and I dont want to get caught up in that.. I want to concentrate on having fun and creating memories.. and I am also thankful for the sweet and fun blogfriends that I do have..

One thing Hailie and I will have to look back on is this little dresser..
we found it on craiglist for 20 bucks.... I contemplated doing anything to it because I loved the way it was already..but Hailie really wanted to paint it white....
so she and I gave it a fresh coat of paint (that already had primer in it! so easy) and took a sanding block to it a bit here and there...
and we ended up with a cute little dresser for her room...
I went to go rummage around to find some cute stuff to put on her dresser and when I came back she had already decorated it herself with her most prized possesions...
her lalaloopsy dolls.. she is obsessed with these dolls and is on a mission to collect every last one of them..
it was so adorable and it is HER room.. so that is how her dresser has stayed...
xoxo love you hailiegirl...

Don't know if it counts, but I read your blog, and love it! Love the dresser makeover, too, and that you let Hailie do what she wanted with it. That's something she will ALWAYS remember about you. Keep blogging, it keeps those who love you connected!
Also, have you ever had your blog printed? It would be a great way to pass it on to your kids.

I read your blog! I don't know about you, but I do it as an online journal of the stuff I make and share with my friends. They know I have a blog and go to it every so often. They hardly if ever comment or follow me. I'm ok with that. I do want to one day print all the posts into a book. It's fun to see how I've progressed over time. Keep on blogging!
