The kids are just besides themselves with the arrival of their new cousins..

After we went to see them both..

Hailie gets in the car and says "Mommy....Sydnie, Colton, and Preston get a new brother and sister.. when do we get one.. I want a new little brother or sister.. I will rock the new baby and take care of it"

Then before I could say anything, Luke pipes in, "Hailie, we don't want a new baby that keeps us up in the middle of the night with it's crying."

Amen..Thank you son..

Felt Food Love..

Luke and Hailie LOVE to play tea party and grocery store...

I know felt food is really popular right now..

Think I am jumping on the band wagon.. I mean can you blame me, it is all so darn cute!

With that said I am going to try my hand at it.. I think it will be a fun project for Luke, Hailie, and I..

So I just bought some patterns from Etsy store Umecrafts ..she also has an Etsy store that sells top quality felt.. so your food will come out looking as amazing as hers...

crazy that it is Halloween already..
we got the kids Halloween costumes this weekend which prompted me to decorate for the holiday..
I got my fabric pumpkins out from last year that I made...
and then Luke and I made some bats and spiders out of plain old cardstock... The new issue of Country Living inspired me..

Luke did such a great spider.. then I made a boo banner out of the unbleached cotton that I love, a little twine and black paint...



fun and festive ..and the kids were cute saying they couldn't wait till our first visitor knocked on the door so they could see our scary decorations...

Day Three...exhaustion setting in

we started our day at Goofys kitchen...
Hailie loved Alice..when she left the table she looked over at Kyle and I and said..
"she is adorable"
then we were off to see the princesses... what Hailie had been waiting the whole trip for..

she was so giddy after we were done meeting them....

then as we were leaving we ran into Mary Poppins..who declared Hailie to be "quite the most delightful little girl"

Off to bear country to play..play..play..
then to the Lego store..because no trip would be complete without Luke and daddy visitng a Lego store...
